Tons of companies are looking to hire someone like this but no one knows how to do it reliably.
There are also tons of people who would like to work in such a role but they are hard to find as there is no generally accepted job title.
Seems like a huge opportunity if you can coin a term + matchmake reliably.
Some ideas from the discussion below Austenβs tweet: Business Operations Generalist, Director of Special Operations, Chief of Stuff, Operations Lead, Free Electron, Factotum. Some say βhire a Chief of Staffβ. Others say: βJust stay away from the Chief of Staff title. Attracts the wrong set of applicantsβ.
Some companies find good people for this kind of role by hiring βfailedβ entrepreneurs. Might be one way to source candidates.

Truly internalizing how winning big truly works incredibly difficult.
It requires unlearning decades of brainwashing.
In school, the winning strategy is to do at least an okay job at everything.
You canβt completely neglect anything.
There are no 100x returns.
But in real life, the winning strategy is completely orthogonal.
There are 100x returns.
And to get them, you only have to do a great job at a tiny number of things.
You can neglect everything else.
