2 Opportunities

• Given the recent roller coaster ride in the stock market and the uncertainties surrounding many jobs, more and more people start looking at alternative assets. There are countless examples (wine, classic cars, farmland, social media accounts, …) and great discussions of them can be found here. Obvious business opportunities are marketplaces and informational products analogues to those that exist for traditional assets (real estate, stocks etc.). But there are certainly also more creative ways to benefit from this trend.

• Every time a new platform becomes popular, it can make a lot of sense to build something on top of it. Millions have been made by people who created simple Wordpress extensions or Shopify Apps. Now, Zoom just announced “Zapps - Apps on Zoom” and this represents a similar opportunity.
